I murder this Xanga.

Wednesday, May 12, 2004

I didn't have answers for the entire last page of the PCH test... is that a bad a thing?

I'm bored out of my mind... four frees and no homework is making me idle and unproductive.

Decided to have some fun

Totem Pole - by P.U.B.E.S

Open the flap of my teepee
Take out my totem pole
You can carve it
You can scrub it
You can paint it
You can rub it
And you can even Pocahontas!

(or something like that... if someone has the correct lyrics... tell me)

Another dry entry with random pictures... even though I don't think they're random, some people obviously do because they tell me to take pictures of all kinda screwed up shit...

SO yes, I complained about it in class... and I'll do it again online.  My AP Physics grade for the year... is a damn 89!  A lesson to me... try harder when you're on borderline.  Come on Doc, gimme some CITIZENSHIP POINTS

PCH test tomorrow is sure to "make or break" some of us tomorrow.  I'm not gonna sit back and let PCH turn commie like Physics!

But damn. Manny Pacquiao and Juan Marquez... that match was tight!  I honestly think Marquez shoulda won for that wicked comeback after he got knocked down three times in the first round. But a draws a draw. No debatin' it.

Jeez, my Photobucket sites have gone nuts with the massive bandwidth spendage over the last month... Photobucket 1 is at 107%.  Photobucket 2 is at 38%. Photobucket 3 is at 98%.  And Photobucket 4 is at 68%.  Max bandwidth is 2500 MB per month... now that's some pretty high traffic...

Another blue sunset with a wimpy rainbow.

Totem pole with the physics mascot.

The hydrogen fuel cell vehicle on Crisp's sad physics quiz.

Intriguing stuff. No, Brandon, camera flashes won't speed up the reaction.

Everyone hovers over this strange contraption which doesn't even work.

Physics and ice cream... how can life get any better? Wait wait, physics, ice cream, and GOLF... according to Doc.

Minolta Dimage dominates your puny Olympus.

Wicked smile, Brandon !

Hahahaa. Hackler was right about nansho.  The obstacle is all in your head.
APs are all over... now let's take a look at the resulting schedule...

Per 1: PCH
Per 2: Shakespeare
Per 3: Bible
Per 4: Free
Per 5: Free
Per 6: Stage Band
Per 7: Free
Per 8: Free

Ain't that THE SHIT?

Howard's coming back on Thursday.  Judo ILH Championships on Saturday... I ain't playing 'cause Lloydo didn't seed me.  But, it doesn't even matter since I'm about 136 lbs now from virtually not doing anything except study and eat at massive buffets.

So let's update on my life and new found freedom.  Recently, I've been spending a large part of my time at Barnes and Noble reading random books/manga/college guidebooks/magazines and listening to music. Need to work up more on my Photoshop skills... which I have been doing.  Need to apply for that Engineering internship at UH over the summer.

On the college front, I think I've narrowed down my application choices greatly.  Numbered by priority... and % is estimated probability of acceptance.
Massachusetts:
Olin College of Engineering (1 / 0.1%) - Full scholarship for geniuses. Definite longshot. (If David Yoshida and Leighton Ige are here...)
Boston University (4 / 80%) - Great university in a city full of learned people and scholars. (If Marc Fujinaka plans to go here...)

New York:
Columbia University (2) - Ivy League university in the heart of New York.
- Columbia College  (30%) - Great liberal arts college with exceptional teachers/libraries/campus
- Fu Foundation (20%) - Engineering college...tougher to get in but for engineers.
New York University (3 / 80%) - Also in New York... Uncle goes to Med School there.

California:
Harvey Mudd (5 / 30%) - Small private Claremont college strong in engineering.
University of Southern California (7 / 90%) - Where most Iolani students go... (If Kelly Nakamura plans to go here...)
UC Berkeley (6 / 60%) - Where political activists speak loudly and carry big sticks. (If William Hung is here...)

My choices have been sliding towards the East Coast and cities mainly because I want to leave the sleepy environment of Hawaii and I want to get the full experience of urban life.
